Indian and international sizes vary widely by studio. Every product page has a fit note from the studio. This is the reference we use when in doubt.
women's sizes.
All measurements in cm. Take your widest natural measurement and pick the closest size up.

bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the ground. Wear an unpadded bra for the most accurate reading.
waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, just above the navel. Stand naturally; do not suck in.
hip
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 20 cm below your waist. Feet together.
shoulder
Across the back, from the edge of one shoulder bone to the other. Best done with a friend.

kantha shirts and kurtas are cut loose by design. Order your usual size, or one down if you prefer them closer to the body.
silk gowns and co-ord sets have less ease. Order your true size, or one up if you'd like a relaxed drape.
sarees and dupattas are one-size; the blouse piece is unstitched (1.0 to 1.2 m).
jackets and outerwear are sized to layer over a tee or kurta. If between sizes, take the larger one.
made-to-order pieces are cut to your bust, waist, and hip. Send all three when you write to us.
